When some people try to connect, VBBS talks to the modem, and then hangs up
in the users face.  It does this to a minority of my users but their mad
cause they can't get on.  Is it VBBS's problem or their problem?  I noticed
on other VBBS boards it does the same thing to users so I'm not alone.  I
even tried a fossil driver, nothing works..
Anyone out there that can tell me what this prob is?

It depends on your modem string... I have been using VBBS since 1992... the
only time I had a problem with that was with my Zoom 14.4 BEFORE I added
&k3s95=3 to the string... what modem do you have???  what string are you
using... not likely the fault of VBBS... most times the modem is not set up
correctly...
