What's $15 / 4, class? $3.75? Obviously, to make any profit at all, the cost for each CD must be less than that. Nobody said you needed a CD-writer. I beleive that most CD mastering houses will accept the data on an 8mm data cartridge. The more CDs you press, the less they cost. I sure as hell wouldn't pay $5 each for ANY cd I was going to have pressed in distribution quantities. IF you are, you are probably getting ripped off. Finally, if the disks really DO cost $5, how many floppies would it take before it became more cost-effective to use the CD?
