Check your logs to see what your board was doing when it locked up.  The run
an HD diagnostic program (SCANDISK) to see that your HD hasn't got a problem.

Next, run DEFRAG to un-fragment your HD.

Finally "refresh" your .EXE from your archive files or installtion disks for
all your BBS, VBBS, VBBS-AUX, and any utility i.e VAREA, VFIDO, etc. Be sure
that you have the utility compatable with the version of VBBS you are running
i.e. 6.xx for VBBS 6.xx and 7.xx for VBBS 7.xx

This should take care of any "random" lockups.
