|I fit into both categories myself.
|I signed such an agreement with my company, but it really only pertains to
|anything I create that is in their line of work and could possibly become a
ompetitor product to them.  They could care less what I program otherwise.
|High prices are due mostly to software pirating!  The rest of the fee is
equired to pay programmers and other employees for all the time they got pai
|for the development of the product.  If you want lower software prices in
eneral, then you should help fight software piracy.

 I used to be "into" software piracy, but I realized that it IS wrong,
because yes, the higher prices of software ARE from piracy. I don't mind
paying for my programs, because for one, I don't want my puter taken away
from 5 years. :)
