Ah, but do you do that for a LIVING?  MOST software authors that work for
BIG name software companies get paid for what they do, and if they lose $$$$
because someone distributes a program FREELY, the programmer won't get paid,
his/her children will starve to death, and all because YOU wanted a FREE copy
of a program.
