OK, here's one of the funniest ones.

I have my program check to see if a program has run successfully or not by
detecting the "Bad Command or File Name" message that DOS returns.

That's one of the most basic parts of DOS, really.

Fire up IBM's MDOS emulation of DOS and see what happens when it can't find
the program. Do you get "Bad Command or File Name"?
