It was either in VBBS Technical Support or VirtualNet Area Co-ordinators, I
can't recall which.

I've already fixed VME.EXE to handle messages greater than 32k.
The new limit is 100k, which should be more then adequate.

I also had to make a few other changes to the overall set of
of programs to cope with the potential larger messages.

I should warn you that running a VME-replacement which passes
messages larger than 32k on to any current VBBS 7.00 or prior
installation may cause unforeseen technical difficulties.

(Actually, I should mention that the version of VBBS I am running
also has an option to toss public messages directly into the databases,
bypassing VME entirely. This does not hamper gating, and results
in somewhat faster overall processing. Actually, the version I'm
running has a lot of improvements over VBBS 7.00. I'd post a list,
but I don't want to reveal to the competition what I am working on yet.)
