Re: To Neil J Marshall This was spoken by Neil J Marshall... Well, why don't you and he come up with what you as SysOps want to be able to do, in terms of a detailed specification, and then I or others can see if we can program something that does it? Neil J Marshall. Right before they were executed... Well, that was about all I could think of at the time, as far as what I'd want. But to give you a bit more detailed example of the % code idea, let's assume that %C1 was the variable that represented the number of calls for the day. Now, in this program, you'd be able to put this in the ansi file: %C1[20] ... this would buffer the variable with 20 spaces on the right side of it. The same idea could be used like this: [20]%C1 .. now you've got the same number of spaces, but on the left side. (This way, you can properly space lines out that are vertical) Perhaps some variables that could also be replaces with horizontal graphs (short ascii blocks, etc) that would use the spaceing ideas above (the [20] in the example). At the very least, it'd make it a bit easier to come up with a custom stats screen that looked more like the rest of your BBS.
