Just a couple probably stupid questions. First, I should probably
explain what I forsee as being the bbs of the future. It would have the
local modem access that we are all used to, but could also be accessed
from the internet thru telnet connection or similar method. Also, it
would be coupled with internet server software so that the local bbs
dialup could also be used as a mini-ISP. The transfer from bbs to
internet would probably even be a menu item accessable to those with the
right security level.

Now, my question is, is there any way that all this could be
accomplished using VA as the bbs platform?

If the answer to that question is the resounding 'NO!' that I suspect it
will be, is RdG still honoring orders for VBBS 6.14 or 7.0 with the
source code provided and whatever else goes with it according to the
order forms?

I realize that VBBS does not support what I have in mind either, but at
least with the source code available there's a chance that such a thing
can be programmed based on the VBBS code. I know that he does not
provide source code for VA already, so it could not be used as the basis
for what I would like to attempt.
