I don't think VA likes long init strings.  (Hence the three fields, I guess.)
So I init with ATZ1.  Here's the profile:

You could compare that with AT&F and come up with an init string I suppose.
:)

I have no problems with this string at all.  I connect with three different
servers with it, plus my ISP, and use it with several communications program
when I get a desire to swipe graphics from errrr I mean visit other BBS's.  :)
