Like internet capability, easy script > language, etc. In my opinion VA is headed in the right direction... Not quite 'VA is Vbbs with some added features', but in one way you are correct in so far as you can upgrade to it from VBBS. But anyone doing this SHOULD NOT put VA *OVER* VBBS! You should install VA /NEW/, then start ot move things over to it. This will take some time and work to do. There are WAY to many changes to just over-write VBBS with VA (like the script language for one!). If anyone needs help, let me know. I can prepare a 'upgrade guide'. i help two other SysOps do this and I am getting pretty good at it. ;-) Tom Torbeck, 1@1847000 VirtualNET Regions 5 and 8 Coordinator The Left Side of Normal BBS |-VirtualNET @1847000 (RC8) <-LeftNET @1 (NC) VADV v2.00 / BOCA V34 |-FIDO 1:115/949 VASTnet @111 {DM/F!} 847-970-9839 {Mundelein, IL} |-Internet @leftside.com (Gateway Avail.) |
