First, do you have an account on his system and did you make SURE to put it
on the upgrade form?  (I know there was not a spot for it, but....)

As for the VBBS modification, I cannot recall exactly, but it had to do with
the savedb routine I think.  You have to allow for a blank user number for a
type-3 (UUCP) network.  I do recall that the net TYPE is in varible npd(x)
where x is the networkid.  npd() returns the TYPE as an integer (1=VNET,
2=WWIV, 3=UUCP, and 4=Fido).

It has been a REALLY long time since I worked on that, but I think it was a
simple change (only a couple of lines if that).

But hopefully, Roland will get you are VA soon....
