Re: Re: Just a thought By: Jas Hud to Codefenix on Mon Jan 30 2023 06:50 pm JH> whats the doorgame? what exactly happened? it could not find the dropfile? JH> was it only displaying local? The first one I noticed had a problem was Legends of Ole, then I realized most of the Sunrise doors had the same problem, and also a few other doors by other authors which used that same DoorFrame door kit. It wasn't displaying local. It was stopping immediately upon startup. The problem was ERROR 6 and ERROR 53 both reported in the DFRAME.ERR file in the same path as the door EXE. I would get one or the other on startup. Error 53 has to do with a file not being found, so it seemed like the door couldn't find the DOOR.SYS file specified in the CFG file. Error 6 is an overflow error, which I'm not sure what would be causing it. JH> what os did you move FROM? Moved from Vista to Windows 10. Now that you're done laughing at that previous statement, I did also update SBBS from 3.18 to 3.20a at the same time. Something I didn't think about until now is it's possible the newer version of SBBS could be writing the DOOR.SYS file differently now than it did in the older version. <codeenix> --- SBBSecho 3.20-Win32 * Origin: -=[conchaos.synchro.net | ConstructiveChaos BBS]=- (618:200/50) |
