Hello All,

I successfully replaced the CPU/heatsink fan in the BBS server.  It's whisper 
quiet now.

My neighbor gave me a GeForce 6600 video card and a Samsung SyncMaster 920NW 
monitor (10 year old 19" widescreen).  Connected both to the server and now 
it's all working beautifully.  HPE really cheaped out when they put some odd 
Matrox graphics chip on this motherboard that won't work outside of Windows 
but at least the motherboard's smart enough to auto-detect what VGA port you 
have the monitor plugged into.

So now, everything seems to be working fine (boy, am I asking for it or 
what?).
