but you said before all this stuff was working, right?

there's probably some stuff you did that screwed things up.  i have no idea why
something would work one time, then stop and then switching your dropfile would
work.

like i said, if you zip it up and delete your user.dat i can run it in a VM and
really find out the problem.   regarding your events not running, rob told you
about that and it's because you had your settings wrong. if you have it setup
incorrectly those events wont launch.

here's an example of a time event that works.
notice the settings for it.   if you change one or two of those settings, it
just wont launch.

like i said, zip it up and send it to me and i'll run it in a vm when i have
time off.  i've ran synchronet for over 20 years and i used to be awesome at
this bbs stuff.  now i only have a handful of the knowledge but i never fail at
what i try at so i can probably figure out what your issue is.
