If the file exists, then it will run the command specified for that trigger file. So for your example of running vpost, I would setup a windows scheduler event to run once a day that would create a file (e.g. vpost.flg). Then in VADV32 setup a new file trigger event that looks for vpost.flg. Set the command to run vpost.exe and the parameters needed for vpost. Set it to run minimized so it isn't popping up on your screen and set it to delete the trigger file.
