Hello All, I'm working on purchasing a Dell Optiplex 160 (a little thing running an Atom processor at 1.6ghz) for my BBS. The big 3gHz machine I have now takes up too much space and for its relatively idle state (save for staving off script kiddies), I think the change will be good. I will be switching from 32-bit to 64-bit Slackware for the BBS though. What's cool: the Optiplex 160 has an actual serial port on it. I just found my external USR Courier v.everything. Thinking about sticking a phone line on it just because I can. Later, Sean --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20160322 * Origin: Outpost BBS * Limestone, TN, USA (618:618/1) |
