Re: The Universe. > Since *I* started this thread, *I* will respond. First of all, I am NOT > disagreeing with you. *I* am offering you (& others) a second way of looking > at things that only (any)one's ego will percieve a conflict between the two. > First *I* say, "*I* believe the ONLY universe is the one *I* have CREATED > thru my perception. When *I* die so does *MY* universe". The ONLY effect *MY* > perceptions have on YOU & YOUR universe is that which YOU CHOOSE to allow. I'm sorry this horse has been beaten so badly, Dave, but it seems that one's ego would press for the opposite of what I take your words to mean. The fact that in the first statement you stress that the ONLY universe is the one you have CREATED thru your perception, then it is followed by a statement that acknowledges the existence of ANOTHER universe - the one that somehow exists because as a different I being I must have there fore have a different perception and hence they are different "universes". By "universe" I thought we were speaking of the astronomical universe of all physical matter, and not the broader sense that would take into account the perceived. Is this what is blocking my view here? It seems illogical otherwise. Anyway, thanks for the offering of the different view. It seems that to disallow them and their effects is an option I am curiosly without! C arlo man |
