I hear ya there. It used to be that to have a computer was an "experience", a 
real hobby... something you could spend hours and hours tinkering around with 
and that was your "thing" that you did. Now you walk around and everyone has a
computer, tablet, glued to their phones etc. And everyone's an expert...

And yes many people still do that, and yes theres new stuff to mess around 
with like the Pi's, but everything is just such a dime a dozen now.
