i've busted my ass and done more than 40 hrs a week my entire working life.
that's about 27 years.  last year i was doing 50-60 hrs.  i had no life and i
didnt enjoy life. i quit my job of 17 years and they didnt give one shit that i
was leaving even though i gave them everything.  what i have to show for it is
fucked up hands and knees.

I want to enjoy life now that i'm 45 years old.
i don't want to sit in a chair and do nothing, but i also dont want to do
frustrating fruitless work. i dont want to work harder so other people can work
less.
