Well, I've gone over the site that Steve mentioned
(http://www.vadvbbs.com/products/vadv/support/... with a
fine-toothed comb, but still no-go. I followed the instructions to the letter,
and it still doesn't work.

I'm sure it's some so stupidly easy that I'm overlooking it, but for the life
of me, I can't figure out what.

Any more ideas?

I've finally gotten all my telnet issues worked out and have my point board
working fine. Now I need my game to work.
