Ok just to let everyone know, a friend was setting up VA, got everything
working, reset up his Fidonet and none of his packets tossed. He asked me to
take a look. I checked everything out and it was all correct, his pkzip was in
his va directory and his va directory was in his path yet vfido wouldn't unpack
anything. I was stumped until I looked at his archivers and compared them with
mine. He had his archivers sorted in alphabetical order and mine had pkzip in
the first line, so I put his like mine and bingo it started unpacking packets.
So pay attention to the order your archivers are in. :)
