AK#@>... In fact, the realization of our own insignificance may AK#@>make things worse for us. Ambition could go down a ton. People could get AK#@>depressed. etc. etc. You have to keep sight of what's IMPORTANT, not every AK#@>little tributary to the big river of knowledge. A bit of philosophical thought that I believed worthwhile to share, passed on to me a number of years ago by some intellygent personage, to bring things into perspective in the infinities of time and space, expanded and enhanced somewhat by my own life's experiences: *-*-* Remember the Chinese *-*-* When life is difficult for you, remember the Chinese. When daily issues seem to overwhelm you, remember the Chinese. When you have no answers to your questions, remember the Chinese. When your sorrows seem unbearable, remember the Chinese. When the day's tribulations make you angry, remember the Chinese. There are over one billion Chinese, they constitute over 20% of the human beings on this planet, they represent one of the oldest civilizations on earth, and not a single one of them cares about your darn problems! PS If you don't think this belongs here, please, consider the advice given above. Always keep a smile handy, because it's so easy to share. * SLMR 2.1a * An idea is not responsible for the people who believe it. |
