Hello Brian!

15 Mar 21 16:45, you wrote to all:

BK> My configuration for Micronet is as follows:

 BK> [node:618:300/1@micronet]
 BK> Name = Kurt Weiske
 BK> Comment = kweiske@realitycheckbbs.org
 BK> Archive = None
 BK> PacketType = 2+
 BK> PacketPwd = [redacted]
 BK> AreaFix = false
 BK> AreaFixPwd = [redacted]
 BK> SessionPwd = [redacted]
 BK> TicFilePwd = [redacted]
 BK> Inbox =
 BK> Outbox =
 BK> Passive = false
 BK> Direct = false
 BK> Notify = false
 BK> Keys =
 BK> Status = Normal
 BK> GroupHub =
 BK> BinkpHost = realitycheckbbs.org
 BK> BinkpPort = 24554
 BK> BinkpPoll = true
 BK> BinkpPlainAuthOnly = false
 BK> BinkpAllowPlainAuth = false
 BK> BinkpAllowPlainText = true
 BK> BinkpTLS = false
 BK> BinkpSourceAddress =

You need to add another node section like this one for 618:100/1, updating the
values with those appropriate for our link.

ie: BinkpHost = bbs.bnbbbs.net, Name = Andrew Leary, SessionPwd = <censored>,
etc.

BK> I do have a configuration 618:ALL which is pretty barren:

 BK> [node:618:ALL]
 BK> Name =
 BK> Comment =
 BK> Archive = None
 BK> PacketType = 2+
 BK> PacketPwd =
 BK> AreaFix = false
 BK> AreaFixPwd =
 BK> SessionPwd =
 BK> TicFilePwd =
 BK> Inbox =
 BK> Outbox =
 BK> Passive = false
 BK> Direct = false
 BK> Notify = false
 BK> Keys =
 BK> Status = Normal
 BK> GroupHub =
 BK> BinkpHost =
 BK> BinkpPort = 24554
 BK> BinkpPoll = false
 BK> BinkpPlainAuthOnly = false
 BK> BinkpAllowPlainAuth = false
 BK> BinkpAllowPlainText = true
 BK> BinkpTLS = false
 BK> BinkpSourceAddress =

I'm not sure that Synchronet supports such wildcard Node entries; this very
well could be the source of your issue.

Andrew
