I've written a fair share of batch programs and *nix scripts to accomplish  
repetative tasks.  After all, repetative stuff is what 'puters do best.

I was just beginning to warm up to REXX when the hdd on my pc decided to  
give up the ghost. The year was circa 2001.  The Fleetstreet fidonet  
reader was amazing. It integrated the use of custom REXX scripts.

But sadly, OS/2 has lost the popular vote.  Linux and/or Windows are the  
best known players.
