Every time I get an email (even though it's rarely) a little yellow reminder
appears telling me that I have one. That's great, I like it.

Could there also be programmed that same little reminder to appear whenever
there is FidoNet, VirtualNet, etc. in the areas that we have subscribed to?
Personally, I'm most interested in the "how to" echo, the "sysop" echo, the
"post-it" echo, and the "support/development" echo. Whenever a new message
appears there, I'd like to see a little yellow reminder.

And the same goes for ANY new file arrival. Couldn't a reminder appear whenever
a file is tossed into any file area?
