Hello Sean! ** On Thursday 11.06.20 - 21:12, Sean Dennis wrote to Richard Falken: RF>> It would be more impressive if it had less script RF>> generated content... you read an "editorial" a couple RF>> paragraphs long and then have to wade through 14 pages RF>> of script generated content. SD> I would love to take over the Snooze and get real content in it.. The Micronet Times: a better-than-fidonews newsletter for the 21st century. SD> What's funny is that I have the same software that is used for the SD> Snooze: the old DOS-based TBBS newsletter software and it still works SD> great. Maybe I should make a monthly one for Micronet, hah. That's another thing.. any newsletter doesn't need to be weekly. If I could dig up my old posts the fidonews echo I specifically suggested around year 2000 that a weekly pub makes no sense, especially if the content is just the robotic stuff and little to no variance. The logic to maintain a weekly newsletter of the current offerings of the Snooze and FG variety astonishes me. ../|ug --- OpenXP 5.0.44 * Origin: my little micronet point (618:510/1.1) |
