To end my thread - My dad took in a family-member and his wife for a short
period of time and let them stay in the basement of his home. The 
family-member was highly educated with university degrees and was a master
pianist. As in, played many concerts, taught piano, etc... extremely
talented and smart. The kind of guy you want with you when you watch Who wants
to be a millionaire.

But he lived like a complete slob and essentially trashed my dad's basement.
