On 21 Mar 17 21:33:00, Kevin Nunn said the following to Nick Andre: KN> NA> Agreed on this. From 1994 to around 2001, 2002 I think it was... I was KN> NA> by all accounts a die-hard OS/2 user. I still think in OS/2 terms with KN> KN> I can't remember when I started running OS/2, I started with OS/2 KN> version 2, so whenever that was. It's definitely a workhorse OS. As is KN> Linux/Unix. I only ran Warp 3 Connect. The motherboard and hard drive in the PC went before OS/2 ever did. It "just worked" and very rarely gave me any problems. KN> But I run my BBS for nostalgic reasons and running it under windows or KN> linux just doesn't seem right . So, I run it under OS/2 still. KN> Although I do have a Mystic BBS running on a Raspberry Pi, but it is KN> still pretty much generic Mystic, and I mainly use it as a gateway to KN> the OS/2 setup. I just have fun toying with the Pi and that's another KN> way to do it. I've been running my BBS since late '93/early '94... OS/2 was and still is the best multi-tasker of DOS programs. The second would have to be Desqview. These days everything here runs on a Windows server system. Unfortunately it has to run on the physical hardware its on. I still have a dialup modem line which I do not wish to part with. This is "the last" home server I'm running. I have enough spare parts for it but if and when it finally dies; thats all.
