To upload ANSI you have to be using the full screen editor (the default).
When you enter the editor, type /U to upload ASCII text. Then just put in the
path to the ANSI file. When you make the ANSI file though, tell it not to
clear the screen (or edit it manually and remove the <arrow>[2J at the
beginning).

You can enter macros in the Account Options menu (also known as the Defaults
menu). VADV allows up to two macros to be entered. Then to add them to a
message, just press Ctrl-A or Ctrl-B depending on which one you want it to
type in.
