Hello All,

I discovered a great backup program called restic.  Took less than seven 
minutes to backup 15GB to a USB2.0 external hard drive.  I ran restic about 10 
minutes later to do an incremental backup and it took less than 7 seconds (!) 
to go through 15GB to see if there were changes to the files.

I set up restic with its own unprivileged user so it and root can only run 
restic.  I use restic as root in a daily cron job.

Oh, the backups are encrypted too.

I hope someone finds this useful.  Now I don't have to worry about backups.

I am, however, going to scrounge up a spare computer and set it up as a file 
server soon...
