The one issue I can see here is if a not-new synchronet sysop applies, who has their *.synchro.net address set up correctly with Rob, their filled out application form could also get rejected. If I remember, I will ask Rob in the support forum why the script apparently doesn't ask for a valid email address. In most cases, if a sysop is just setting up, chances are they have not yet figured out how to get their *.synchro.net address set up (and may not even be looking to use that feature).
