I'm not sure what error you are reporting.
and crashing is such a vague word.

I thought you said your program was dying and dosbox would then quit.
you should check the dosbox logs and see if it captures it.

furthermore if you have problems with programs that other people don't have
issues with, check your memory and hardware.  those can be gremlins.
