I have not tried to upload a file yet, but adding -e -q to the download
string seems to work... but only if I am using syncterm's "raw" mode.  If I
am in telnet, which most "callers" would be, it won't work.  :(
 
I think I am having the issue that Mark described... because I have a
front-end program running to stop the bots, it kills my DOS transfer
protocols.  I thought having the front-end call the system directly,
instead of initiating a second telnet connection, might bypass that issue
but it does not look like it.
