Yes... You'd have to do it yourself to be sure. Everyone would have to do it
themselves to be sure; you can't exactly take your video camera along with
you and video the experience to show all your buddies. :)

Also mentioned is that stepping back in this manner lets you view things
closer to the way they actually are; imagine going from having a direct
involvement and steak in a matter to being just a casual, detached observer.
I think things would look a lot clearer! It's like those contests in
magazines where they have some extreme close-ups of sectors of photos in
the mags; you have to guess what picture the close-up came from to get the
prize.
