Just because you have no control over your actions does not mean that I have no control over mine. There are those of us who follow our own laws. There are those of us who can heed the group's ethics, but refine them as higher reason demands. If I was suddenly declared exempt from all of Earth's laws, I would continue to live my life as I've always lived it... except I wouldn't do what security guards said. But then, that's because they usually pick on me when I'm the best target for their boredom, and it would please me greatly to suppress them. They, like you, believe that since they can't control their own actions, that no one else must be able to control theirs. Yep, that's right. Be good to someone by hurting them. It makes me billious. |
