There are things you can do to prevent spam bots from creating accounts via your web and then posting. I don't entirely blame YOU, i blame the synchronet developers. years ago I said it's not a good idea to have our msg bases open up on the web and be defaulted to be readable by bots. they agreed but said it was 'cool' so kept it. Despite that, the fact is, we are responsible for our own systems.
