you can moderate your msg bases, or you can rig it so they can only post after x
amount of logins.  apparently someone mapped out synchronet bbs's functions and
made a bot.

anybody that gets compromised doesn't provide enough info to how it happened. so
we dont know if it's happening via the web or telnet or both.
