Hi Chris, Well, I been on the boards downloading mail but uploading much during the last week, so now I've a load to upload. CM> MR> my computer is an old portable machine with only two double CM> MR> density disk drives. CM> You can get some bargains in the Telegraph on old 386s - do you not CM> have a Hard Drive? You probably can get bargains but you also need money to buy them. Something I do not have very much of. And no I don't have a hard drive, it's amazing the amount of stuff I can do with just two floppy drives. It's enough to allow me to use my comms package and get on the boards. CM> Orcs, HA! We fearless barbarian warriors (tm) don't bother with CM> paltry orcs. Sorry Mr. Linnormbane, didn't mean to offend. I'm just not wise in what's a good kill for a barbarian warrior. To make up for it, I hope you get to kill at least four great wyrms, three daemon lords and seven breakfast tv presenters this week. CM> I'm out training when B5 is on... What kind of training? Weights, sport, gladiatorial events. I should be in the Friends echo on 42nd Street by the time you read this. I'm also considering whether to change my X-Files echo from Bart to 42nd. I'll have to check my mail packet sizes, I can't have then too big cos of the restrictions of floppy dr ives. CM> Do you use an OLR? I'm looking at BlueWave at the moment but I may also try downloading another off one of the boards to compare it. And what about you? I think I'm veering off the subject of this echo, guess I'd better talk about something Sci-fi. Happy Days, Sliders and Earth 2 should be starting on Sky next week, I'm looking forward to seeing more Earth 2 (I've only seen the pilot) and I know Sliders is good as I've seen a couple of episodes. Also VR5 starts later in the October, and I'm looking forward to seeing this although one person has told me it's not very good. I'll wait to see it before excepting his word, as he can be wrong. Do you know where to get any good B5 text files? I haven't had any new ones in ages and can't seem to find any. At least not on the Belfast boards that I use. It you know of any let me know. Later. Mark. ... Blake's 7 - Babylon 5 - Deep Space Nine - V.R. 5 - what next? --- * Origin: Planet Earth BBS, Belfast, N. Ireland, +44-1232-392072 (240:700/17) |
