*Quoting Steven Manson #302 @15030 to Wayne Stewart #15 @150900* SM#@> Re: Fighter! SM#@> Starfleet Battles is one of the best tactical simulations I have ever SM#@> played! I have a whole shelf full of SSD's and rulebooks. If SM#@> anything tells it like it is, SFB does. Three cheers for Task Force SM#@> Games! I too, enjoy SFB. I have been playing since it first came out as a pocket game(@1980). While on active duty in the Marines, I would take enough playing pieces for several different races/scenarios. I, also laminated all playing sheets, so they could be reused. I used grease pencils to write with and sprayed several coats of flat plastic coat to protect the playing pieces. I retired last year and moved near Raleigh, NC. I have not played for over a year now, but when I can find some local players I will get back into the swing of things.
