I grew up with the original Star Trek, and have followed The Franchise in all its incarnations. Far too many episodes of STNG, STV andDS9 are ripoffs of the original. WHat I'd love to see is someone take one of the old Star Trek books and turn that into a movie! Can't remember the name, but one from a few years ago dealt with Earth's first contact with the Vulcans, and was set around the late 1990's. Most of the books - Especially Dianne Duanes' <sp?> books - are superior to the newer Star Trek show's scripts. << lemon >> |
