Im trying not to get too emotional here.

I don't know what you mean by off-base but I decided to take it as a
compliment.

Just because some of us dont need 90's special effects to dazzle our little
brains doesn't mean that those episodes have *excellent* writing.
How many times have you seen STNG and ST:V ripping off Original Episodes.
Look at the Crew!  Roddenberry is a Master, You a nave.
