Re: Q Episode A wimpy Q? I prefer to think of this as a thoughtful Q. This showed us the side of Q that he hides, that isn't covered up by his ego. We saw a fraction of this in All Good Things..., and now we see it again in Death Wish. Q is maturing as a character; if he pulled the same stunts he pulled before, it would simply grow old; this way it has the chance to grow better. I liked the interplay between the capatain and Q - it has the makings of a WONDERFUl relationship. Plus, the torment - here is a being Janeway knows could take them home with half a thought - if only she caves in. And there is the fun for Q - knowing she won't but teasing her anyway. I was very satisfied with the episode. I think its some of the best Voyager we've seen yet. Elroy / |
