Isn't Picard kind of old to be a Captain?! > 3. That lousy movie Generations. > ::: Nick of Nite ::: Well, I actually liked Q, and Picard is fine to be a captain (he is not that old, you know). You see, that's what made TNG so different. Because, people expected a young, impatient, supposedly experienced, baby-look-at-me-i'm-a-total-hunk-and-igot-to-fly-a-space-ship kind of guy, but TNG was different. It had in command a REALLY experienced man, wise and ok, a little old but that did not bother captains on the 24th century. And about Generations, I agree with you. Double lousy. And the Borg are back on the next feature film. Now there's something I always hated about TNG. Whenever an important episode came along, or whenever they needed a fearful alien race, they always put the darn Borg! I mean, there;s got to be some other alien race able to destroy the Enterprise. But, oh no, they had to cramp down the budget by using the old Borg costumes instead. People, this is a feature film, for God's sake! Be more, uhmm, original!!!! (For a change). ANd so, my humble comment ends. RoN |
