S�          BUT!  In the movie GENERATIONS, Scotty see's Kirk well "die" now
 �we've all seen the movie and know the he didn't but how could Scotty assume
 �that Kirk came to save him when Scotty thinks Kirk is dead?

Are you familiar with the phrase YATI?  It stands for Yet Another Trek
Inconsistency.  That was one thing that had thousands of Trekkers
screaming about the new movie.  The answer is, yeah, it's another goof
by the writers.  Or, if you listen to the more hard core Trekkers, it's
another example of Rick Berman's drive for money and power and his
abandonment of Gene Roddenbery's vision of the future.

Personally, I think they're human and they make mistakes.  It could be a
little hard to keep track of everything done and said in every episode
and movie.
