BF#@> is anyone following Earth 2?
RG#@> Some friends and I were arguing recently over whether the show was more
RG#@> science fiction or a blend of science fiction and fantasy. In any
RG#@> case, some of you might want to watch an episode. While I enjoy Star
RG#@> Trek, the superscience technobabble DOES get old after a while, and the
RG#@> more human concerns of the cast of characters in Earth 2 is refreshing

BF#@> i agree with you 200%, although Star Trek has always been a fav.,
BF#@> quite frankly, it is starting to get tiresome, i don't rush to be in
BF#@> front of the set monday evenings (the night it's on here) to see
BF#@> voyager, and although TNG is on many channels, i don't rush to see
BF#@> those either. i do howver see to it that i'm here on sunday evenings to
BF#@> watch Earth 2 and SeaQuest, both shows of which i consider superior to
 BF#@> all current Treks.

My sons call SeaQuest CheeseQuest, and for good reason. It has gotten
cheesier with almost every episode. For instance, the encounter with "
Elemental evil," ghosts, demons, etc. that they've run into in the
last few months. Earth 2 has been getting stranger and stranger,
as well, with the Terriens' dream capability, the teleporting
spider webs, etc. I still enjoy watching it, but it's definitely gone
beyond Science, and possibily Science Fiction, to fantasy.

                Hobbit}:>
BF#@> it is kinduva mixture of sci-fi and fantasy, but it works, and
BF#@> strangly enough, it's all somewhat believable (compared to Star Trek
BF#@> which has lost alot of that) they do handle more... humane topics and
BF#@> concerns, and i've found them to be more interesting....

 BF#@> lates.
