Then you, my friend, should have watched the season premier of DS9! The Klingons are no longer a part of the Federation. The Obsidian Order, amongst the Cardassian Empire was dispersed. The Cardassian Government was overthrown by the Civilian public, and their Military was rather meek. With the threat of the Dominion from the Gamma Quadrant, the Klingons assumed that the change of power within the Cardassians was a Dominion ploy. The Klingons all but obliterated the Cardassian forces in an invasion of Cardassia Prime. The Federation refused to back the Klingons in this action, and even helped protect the new Cardassian political officers. Because of this, the Klingons have withdrawn from their treaty with the Federation and Worf is now a Klingon outcast. Thus begins a new era of Star Trek Wars! As for the new TNG movie due out in late 1996, it's been heard that the movie will involve the Borg, once more. * * * SummerMoon * * * |
