I liked the movie and thought the ending was pretty lame too.  We probably
would've wanted something more dramatic and emotional like Spock's death in
ST II, but consider this....  Kirk knew Spock for 20 years, Picard knew Kirk
for 20 minutes.  Kinda stresses the emotional impacts on tbeir deaths.
