Easily. The mater-antimatter reactor produces energy, and the dilithium
crystals do something weird, so that that energy is doubled. Now, part of it
goes back into creating matter/antimatter, and part of it is available for
use. Since this way we have infinite energy, we can do whatever we want, even
bend space around us.
    I wish I could see the guy who invented this, and tell him: "If you can't
explain something you dreamed up, DON'T."
