To whom it may concern:

        My name is Hollywood and I am a Golden Retriever,  I was
diagnosed with Fibro Sarcoma (Cancer of the oral cavity) and I am
expected to live another 6 months without my life saving treatment which
consits of radiation therapy down at U.C. Davis.  I am asking for the
publics help to raise the funds needed for the treatment, it will cost
$2,300 dollars and my parents (Beverly and Dallas) just dont have the
funds any more.  They have already spent over $1,100 dollars on me to
find that the first time I went in to get diagnosed in May of '94 the
vet's said I was benigne, in January 15th of '95 I was positive that I
did in fact have cancer for almost the whole time.

In efforts to raise money to help pay for my treatments I went on the
local T.V. station and did an interview with them.  I have also been on
the sunday morning talk show at KMIX 106.3 F.M. and have offered me some
help, but so far they have been able to help a bit.

So far I have recieved donations ranging from .50 cents to 100.00
dollars.  We have called numerous pet foundations and most of them would
tell us that all their funds are depleted, or that if my family would
give me up they would take care of me as a science experiment to try and
cure cancer.  Some would hang up on us and some would give us other
numbers to try.  We do thank Save-A-Pet for donating 30.00 though they
didnt want their name published.

To any Vet's who read this, Kmix has offered to pay for your air time in
commercials in lue of treatment for me.
